ABOUT THE DEPARTMENT
The department ofPhysical Education has become an integral part of Sarat Centenary College in the year of 2007.The department started its journey with the introduction of B.A. /B.Sc. General Course in Physical Education.The Department aims to disseminate knowledge and proficiency in health care, fitness, wellness and rehabilitation through adopting a multidisciplinary approach. Though this department had a humble beginning with only a few students pursuing studies in Physical Education, today the department is proud of catering to the growing needs of students to study.
The department is deeply indebted to the dedicated teachers who in previous years had immensely contributed to developing the teaching-learning resources. The legacy they have left behind has encouraged the present teachers in initiating an all-round development of the students. Today the department of Physical Education has established its worth at every sphere of development starting from academic to cultural refinements of the institution. We are committed to carry forward this tradition in future years.
